RBR Buffer Seal is a unidirectional rod buffer seal that protects the primary rod seal against high-pressure impulse and intensification conditions. The unique design of the RBR Buffer Seal allows a small amount of fluid bypass to assist in the pressure actuation of the primary rod seal.
RBR Buffer Seal is recommended in heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder applications operating under high pressures and temperatures. It is also recommended when employing large extrusion gaps for effective wear ring exposure.
